This was Sonic our seal point stud pictured here at almost 8 years old and just before we lost him. He had lovely warm seal points and a virtualy unshaded cream coat. He was a very typical seal lad very aloof and everything very much on his terms.
He made Champion and then got two grand certificates but as he wasn`t too keen on showing so we stopped showing him for a while. The problem stemmed from the fact that there were certain people he just didn`t like....he could sense if someone was good or bad. Many a time I would come home from being some and he would huff and puff if he didn`t like the smell of who I had been with.
Anyhow we decided that we would take him out to a show to see if he could get his final Grand and sure enough he did. I was called to his pen at that same show as someone had informed me that he appeared to be panting. When I arrived he appeared to be okay but on taking him out he went a bit crazy and bit me nine times not something he would have normally have done. All appeared to be well with him when we got home and I got sorted out in casualty. Anyway several weeks after the show he became mysteriously ill and nothing could really be pin-pointed he was dripped over the weekend but my vet thought he might do better at home with me. I brought him home and was so worried about his decline that I had him sleep with me in my bed with his companion but he continued to deteriorate and I unfortunately had no choice but to let my lovely lad go and he was put to sleep in my arms.
